Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov is considering a deal with the Nets to help fund a new stadium in exchange for a large stake of the club in return. Nets' owner Bruce Ratner has until the December deadline for his plan to build a stadium in Brooklyn to move the team in 2011 or they will lose much of the funding. Prokhorov is the richest man in all of Russia, and this could be a good match. He is part-owner of a Russian basketball, and it looks like he wants to get involved in the NBA. The Nets would welcome this move.
